Kirin's Nodogoshi has been the best selling 2nd category beer since it went on sale in 2005. As can be seen in this graphic, there have been 5 product renewals since that time and each time an improvement in taste has been made.

2006 - amount of soy protein used was increased
2007 - the fermentation was optimized
2008 - the amount of hops used was optimized
2010 - the amount of all ingredients were optimized
2012 - use of cascade hops improves taste
