Nestle Japan has introduced a Vanilla Ice Cream flavor KitKat which is made to be refrigerated or frozen. I live in a family that regularly refrigerates chocolate because we like it that way. However, sweetness, aroma, and other factors related to taste are heavily influenced by temperature. Therefore chocolate is made to be eaten at room temperature. Unfortunately, a head to head comparison with a chocolate developed for room temperature is not possible because there is not another vanilla ice cream flavor.
