Grand Kirin Premium Beer is exactly as the name implies, premium and a beer. It is sold primarily through 7-Eleven and sister outlets. Since it is a beer (and is thus subject to high tax), uses premium ingredients (malt and hop only), and is sold only in individual glass bottles, the price also sets this product apart. This product claims to use "dip hop" derived from the Kirin proprietary "dip hop method" for fermenting hops. As can be seen from my recent posts on Kirin beers, Kirin is trying to cover every base - premium, discount, restaurant, home and special needs (low sugar, low purine).
