Meiji 100 Percent Chocolate Cafe‏

Meiji runs a 100 Percent Chocolate Cafe near Tokyo Station, where they sell 100 varieties of chocolate made from ingredients sourced from all over the world. To coincide with the opening of Tokyo Sky Tree, they have opened a second location in Sky Tree Solar Town.

Suntory Orangina in Japan‏

Suntory has introduced the French brand Orangina (carbonated orange juice) in Japan. Oddly, they are using Richard Gere dressed as a stereotypical Frenchman in adds, while alluding to a famous movie series "Otoko wa tsurai yo (Its hard to be a man)" by replacing the "man" with "Monsieur".

Burger King Whopper 5‏

Burger King is celebrating 5 years in Japan with periodic specials. Although this special is over, it is pretty interesting. A special Whopper 5 (five patties) to celebrate 5 years. This was only available for the first 10 people to order each day of the three day promotion. That is a LOT of meat. Not sure I could handle it myself.

Burger King Summer Cool Colors‏

Burger King has introduced Summer Cool Colors drinks for the hot weather. There are 4 varieties: iced matcha latte, berry berries, mango & banana, and Irish lemonade. Japanese in general are less eager to buy food with bright artificial colors, but sometimes foreign companies come in and surprise the local companies.
